URANIUM LIMITED TOWARDS THE FIGHT AGAINST CoVid-19.

Members of the Media,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a great pleasure for me to address you all this afternoon at this gathering in efforts to
combat CoVid-19. I am pleased that you all have honoured our invitation to join us in
order to witness this collaboration with CNNC Rossing Uranium Limited towards the
fight against Covid-19.
Since the outbreak of CoVid-19, the Government of Namibia has demonstrated its
commitment to the wellbeing of the people of Namibia by providing significant resources
to counter CoVid-19. At the very onset, allow me to thank the CNNC Rossing Uranium
Ltd, for providing the state with the unique opportunity, to enable them to be actively
engaged in the fight against COVID-19. Had it not been for their generous efforts and
hard work, this event could not materialize.
Director of Ceremonies, ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to inform you that, despite
all these challenges faced by the Namibian nation, the Ministry of Health and Social
Services is committed to fight against the corona virus; of which three (3) cases have
been confirmed positive, thus far. We will be able to fight this, together with all the
stakeholders and Namibian nation at large.
